Fish runs in the family at ‘The Fish People’, with over 100 years’ experience our fishmongers pride themselves on sourcing and preparing the finest quality of fish and shellfish available from a wide list of trusted suppliers.

On daily basis produce is sourced from all over Scotland, from east to west coast. Hand-dived scallops from Barra, mussels from Shetland, and much more from Mull, Fraserburgh and Orkney, all cut and prepared to the highest standards in our shop at Scotland Street before venturing throughout the city to one of the many restaurants and hotels we supply.

Throughout the year we select the best and the widest varieties of fish possible, our highly skilled fishmongers are always on hand to advise you on the best available fish as well as lesser well known alternatives. Sustainability is important to us when sourcing fish and we aim for as little wastage as possible, meaning we buy only what we need to.

As well as the huge selection of fish and seafood we sell we also supply some game and poultry when in season, upon request. If there is something you are looking for please ask and we would be delighted to source it for you.
